On April 9, 2018, South Africa’s Standard Bank officially launched its operations in Abidjan as Stanbic Bank Côte d’Ivoire.  The Economic and Trade Office in Sandton is proud to have been engaged with Standard Bank since its opening in 2013 and having played a pivotal role in the opening of Stanbic Bank Côte d’Ivoire.

Standard Bank’s management is confident about the economic future of Côte d’Ivoire and so are South African businesses.  According to Stanbic Bank’s CEO for Côte d’Ivoire, Mr. Hervé Boyer,
